Our dear friend, and colleague, has sadly, tragically and very suddenly passed away in the morning hours of Saturday, 25 January 2020.
Lindi Cindi was born in Ladysmith and grew up with a fighting spirit which she inherited from her late mother. This spirit was quickly put to work learning to fend for herself and her siblings.
She overcame many obstacles and built a successful career after completing her BTech Clinical technology in Reproductive Biology at the Durban University of Technology. She trained under Dr Cassiem at BioArt in Johannesburg, then later joined Cape Fertility and Groote Schuur. Most recently she was working with Dr Mohammed at Sandton Fertility.
Anyone who knew Lindi Cindi knew that she LOVED to laugh and enjoy her time with her closest friends. Her kids were her heart and they were her biggest fans. She was a determined woman who climbed many mountains and was able to stand at the top and admire her achievements. This analogy ties in well, as fitness was another passion of hers, together with determination, nothing could stand in her way.
She will be greatly missed and will leave a big void in the field of embryology.
Lala Ngoxolo MaCindi uqatsho lakho ulufezile!
