Welcome to SASREG, the Southern African Society of Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy.

We serve to protect the interests of patients undergoing fertility treatment.

SASREG represents Gynaecologists with a special interest in Gynaecological Endoscopy, sub-specialists, embryologists and scientists working in the field of reproductive medicine. The Society also supports fertility and theatre nursing sisters, allied practitioners as well as psychologists and social workers working in the field of Gynaecological Endoscopy and reproductive medicine.

Our Commitment

  • To provide and promote high-quality care in Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy to all patients in need of treatment
  • To represent our members and their interests with Government (the National and Provincial Department’s of Health), the Health Professions Council of South Africa, the College of Medicine of South Africa, Health Care Funders, the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry, and other role players in Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy
  • To provide opportunities for continuing medical education in the form of conferences, seminars, workshops and treatment guidelines
  • To play an active role in the training of health care providers in the field of Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy
  • To stimulate and promote research in Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy
