SASREG is grateful to Gottie Scholtz and his team from Ferring for successfully arranging the 2022 Ferring And SASREG Training workshop (FAST workshop) held on 04 – 06 November in Pretoria. Although it targets Reproductive Medicine fellows and newly qualified specialists, it is of great benefit to all doctors dealing in Reproductive medicine.
Professor Yacoub Khalaf from Guys and St Thomas’ hospital and King’s College London lead the discussion on the use of Progesterone in the luteal phase and in recurrent pregnancy loss whilst Prof Johnstone from the USA discussed the current aspects and principles of oncofertility amongst others.
The workshop attracted attendees from Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, KZN and Zimbabwe.
We are looking forward to the 2023 edition of the FAST workshop.
